Embark on a guided nature and history walk along the breathtaking West coast of Mainland Orkney from the town of Stromness to Skaill Bay. You will enjoy stunning views of sea stacks, geos, and diverse wildlife and flora as you traverse the clifftops. Your adventure includes a private tour of Skara Brae Neolithic village and time for an afternoon treat at the visitor centre café. Here our vehicle collects us and takes us back to Stromness town centre. You will learn about the key historical sites and stories we pass along the way, and theree is the opportunity to stop at the Ring of Brodgar or Stones of Stenness. Moderate walk on grassy clifftop paths, often boggy or muddy in places. 19km/12miles. Duration: 8 hours 9:00 - 17:00 Wear waterproof clothing and appropriate footwear. Cancellation The tour requires a minimum of 4 participants to go ahead. Summit to Sea Adventures reserves the right to cancel if the tour is under subscribed. This will be decided 14 days before the tour date. In the event that Summit to Sea Adventures needs to cancel the tour or trip you will be refunded in full. If you need to cancel your booking, Summit to Sea Adventures requires notification in writing (confirmed email is also acceptable). The effective date of cancellation will be the date which we receive your notification. Please refer to the T&Cs for cancellation fee details. We can give you the option to move your tour to another date (subject to availability).
