Women’s Walk to the Harraymen’s Graves, Rendall. Step into Orkney’s timeless landscape on a women’s walk to the Harraymen’s graves in Rendall. Guided with care and storytelling, this journey blends gentle walking with rich history and community connection. Together we’ll explore the legendary ancient resting place of the Harraymen, a group of men from the neighbouring parish across the hill who are said to have lost their lives here on this hillside hundreds of years ago, pausing to reflect on the lives and legacies woven into Orkney’s past. Along the way, expect wide skies, coastal views and wildlife such as hen harriers. This walk is designed to be inclusive and welcoming—whether you come alone, with a friend, or simply seeking space to breathe. Time: 1h30 (up to 2 hours maximum to allow time for reflection). 10am – 11.30am Location: Exact location in Rendall will be shared at booking. Terrain: A short section of single track road, moorland tracks and rough hillside paths which can be wet and boggy.
