Join us for a fully guided 6‑day walking adventure along the St Magnus Way, Orkney’s long‑distance pilgrimage route inspired by the life and legacy of St Magnus. This is a journey through time, coastline, community, and quiet reflection — a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and experience Orkney with a local guide who knows its tides, tales, and hidden corners. Over six days, we’ll walk the route section by section, starting on the island of Egilsay, exploring dramatic cliffs, peaceful farmland, tidal sounds, and the heart of Orkney’s Norse story. Each day blends steady walking with moments of stillness, storytelling, and connection to place. What’s Included - Fully guided walk each day with an STGA‑qualified Orkney Green Badge Guide and Lowland Leader - Expert interpretation of Orkney’s history, wildlife, folklore, and landscape - Relaxing activity and time for reflection after each day of walking including café visit, relaxing yoga session and Viking Experience on the beach - Egilsay ferry fee and transport from Kirkwall to and from walk start/end points - Supportive, small‑group experience - Time for reflection and photography - Packed lunch - If you can't continue on a section for any reason, transport is available to collect you Trip Highlights - Walk all six stages of the St Magnus Way with a knowledgeable local guide - Discover Orkney’s Norse heritage, sacred sites, and coastal wonders - Enjoy a friendly, inclusive atmosphere — perfect for solo travellers, friends, and anyone seeking meaningful adventure This journey is ideal for walkers with moderate fitness who enjoy full days outdoors, varied terrain, and the companionship of a small group. You don’t need to be fast — just steady, curious, and ready for adventure. Practical Details - When: 15 - 20 June 2026 - Distance: Approx. 58 miles total, walked in manageable daily sections - Group size: Small and personal - Accommodation not included: Booked independently (recommendations available) Pricing: All Inclusive Experience — £1,250 per person Includes daily packed lunches, all activities, and the full guided experience. Guided Experience (No Lunches) — £1,175 per person For guests who prefer to bring or source their own lunches. Includes all guiding, transport and activities. Cancellation Policy
Please read the Terms and Conditions. By reading the Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge, understand and agree to accept them. Cancellation The tour requires a minimum of 4 participants to go ahead. Summit to Sea Adventures reserves the right to cancel if the tour is under subscribed. This will be decided up to 1 day before the tour date. In the event that Summit to Sea Adventures needs to cancel the tour or trip you will be refunded in full. If you need to cancel your booking, Summit to Sea Adventures requires notification in writing (confirmed email is also acceptable). The effective date of cancellation will be the date which we receive your notification. Please refer to the T&Cs for cancellation fee details. We can give you the option to move your tour to another date (subject to availability).
